About Me

Hi, I'm Lauren (she/her) — a dance educator, dance/movement therapist, and mom to an energetic preschooler. For the last 26 years, I've been creating spaces for people of all ages to connect, express, and grow through dance and movement.

As a mother, I know how meaningful it is to find spaces where children and caregivers both feel welcomed and seen. The dance classes I offer are designed to be just that: a place to slow down, be present with your child, and delight in who they're becoming. I get to witness so many firsts, and being part of those moments is a deep honor.

My classes are rooted in brain-compatible dance education, blending creativity with research-backed approaches that support cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. I draw on nearly a decade of experience as a counselor and dance therapist, specializing in neurodivergent children, families and parents. 

My background in the field of mental health allows me to hold space for the full range of toddler and caregiver experiences, from delight and curiosity to overwhelm and recalibration, all through the language of dance. I think of this work as tending to the whole child and the bond they share with their caregivers, nurturing connection and wellbeing from the very beginning.

I believe deeply in community arts as a way of gathering, belonging, and moving together, and in offering children and families a rooted place in that from an early age. Whether your child is toddling for the first time or already jumping non-stop, these classes are designed to support their natural development while fostering creativity, connection, and joy.
