Hi, I'm Lauren (she/her) — a dance educator, dance/movement therapist, and toddler mom. For the last 25 years, I’ve been creating spaces for people of all ages to connect, express, and grow through dance and movement — whether in dance classes, therapeutic movement groups, or dance/movement therapy sessions.
As a mother to a spirited young explorer, I understand how deeply meaningful it is to find spaces where both children and caregivers feel welcomed, supported, and seen. That’s exactly what I hope to create in my caregiver/child and caregiver/toddler dance classes — playful, nurturing environments where little ones can move freely, connect joyfully, and grow holistically alongside the adults who care for them.
My dance classes are rooted in brain-compatible dance education — blending creativity with research-backed approaches that support cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. I also draw on nearly a decade of experience as a counselor and dance therapist, specializing in work with neurodivergent children, families and parents. This background allows me to hold space for the full range of toddler (and caregiver!) experiences — from delight and curiosity to overwhelm and recalibration — all through the language of dance.
Whether your child is toddling for the first time or already jumping non-stop, these classes are designed to support their natural development while fostering creativity, community, and joy. All families and bodies are welcome — come as you are.
Let’s dance, grow, and discover together.
